How does the candle subscription work?

Each month, we'll send you a hand-poured artisan soy candle in our signature packaging. The scent will change monthly, following seasonal themes. You can choose your subscription length (1, 3, 6, or 12 months) and pause or cancel anytime.

When will my subscription box arrive?

For new subscribers, your first box ships within 2 business days of your order. Subsequent boxes ship on the 1st of each month, and typically arrive within 3-5 business days.

Can I choose the scents I receive?

Our standard subscription features our expertly curated selection of seasonal scents. However, we do offer a scent preference profile where you can indicate fragrance families you prefer (woody, floral, citrus, etc.) or any scents you'd like to avoid.

Are your candles eco-friendly?

Absolutely! We use 100% natural soy wax, cotton wicks, and phthalate-free fragrance oils. Our packaging is recyclable or biodegradable, and we offset carbon emissions from shipping.

How long do your candles burn?

Our standard 8oz candles have a burn time of approximately 45-50 hours when burned properly. We include care instructions with each candle to help you maximize burn time.

Can I give a subscription as a gift?

Yes! Our subscriptions make wonderful gifts. During checkout, you can indicate that it's a gift, include a personalized message, and specify the recipient's shipping address. We'll send them a beautiful notification card announcing their gift.

How do I pause or cancel my subscription?

You can manage your subscription through your account dashboard. To pause, simply click 'Pause Subscription' and select for how long. To cancel, click 'Cancel Subscription'. For prepaid plans (3, 6, or 12 months), you'll continue to receive candles until the end of your prepaid period.

Do you offer international shipping?

Currently, we ship to the U.S. and Canada. We're working on expanding to more countries and hope to offer worldwide shipping soon.

What if my candle arrives damaged?

We take great care in packaging our candles, but if yours arrives damaged, please email us at support@candlesubscription.com with a photo within 7 days of receipt, and we'll send a replacement right away.

Can I order past scents I loved?

Yes! While supplies last, previous months' scents are available in our online shop. Subscribers receive a special discount on these purchases.

Are your fragrance oils safe for pets?

Our fragrances are pet-friendly, but we recommend using candles in well-ventilated areas and keeping them out of reach of pets. If you have specific concerns, please contact us before subscribing.
